Christmas Day 2008Here we are in front of our Christmas tree on Christmas Day last year...2008. We had a low-key day in North Carolina since I was much to far along in my pregnancy to travel. We spent the day hanging out with our friend, Andre, from Duke. This shot was taken after eating a yummy lunch at our house and just before heading to the movies to see Marley & Me. Little did we know that we were about to meet the greatest Christmas present of the year...Luke!!
Since I was still three weeks from my due date it was quite a suprise when we woke up at 3:15 am on Christmas night to my water breaking, contractions, and obvious labor. We were at the hospital by about 7 am and Luke arrived (much, much, much) later that night on December 26th.
Christmas Day 2009
Here we are this Christmas in front our Christmas Tree in Peru. This year has brought many changes!! We are so grateful for the journey and especially grateful for our Lord's faithfulness though it all. Merry Christmas to everyone!!
